Is He Qualified?

Absolutely.

Omar Sofradzija is more than qualified to help Journalism students gain knowledge and experience.

Sofradzija spent 17 years writing and reporting news before taking the job at Michigan State University and The State News. He worked for the Peoria Journal Star from 1990-2003 and then work at the Las Vegas Review-Journal until 2007.

Along with writing and reporting fabulous columns, Sofradzija was honored with multiple awards.

Sofradzija has been honored in both Illinois and Nevada. His credentials include honors from the Illinois Associated Press Editor's Association, the Illinois Collegiate Press Association, and he Nevada Press Association.
